Wiltshire has an accommodation and support strategy and a modelling tool which predicts the demographic increases in older people including people with dementia. This influenced the Wiltshire implementation plan to roll out extra care housing provision over the next 5-10 years. Wiltshire also has an excellent telecare programme with examples of people being supported in their own home with assistive technology.
