Dementia Challenge

The NHS South of England Dementia Challenge Fund enabled local communities to identify and implement practical solutions to the problems faced by people living with dementia. This knowledgebase provides detailed information about the projects which have been awarded funding and offers a repository for resources emerging from the projects. We hope that this will promote engagement and enhance the spread of best practice and learning.

Dementia friendly communitiesThese projects are helping to create dementia friendly communities in which people with dementia can enjoy the same opportunities to take part in a social life, live independently and engage in everyday activity as other people, without fear of stigma or rejection.
